We love our Volunteers! The FAITH Neighborhood Center is staffed by an executive director, two part-time employees, and over 100 volunteers. We could not exist without our faithful volunteers who put in countless hours without compensation — they work only because they enjoy helping people!
There are many ways you can provide help as a volunteer.
The Front desk volunteers check in existing clients and registers new clients. They also provide help with signing up for Food Stamps and Medicare. Computer skills are required to work in this area.
Food pantry volunteers receive food orders from the Front Desk and assemble and give completed orders to the clients.
Warehouse volunteers help receive and stock food.
Greeters help provide clients with an enjoyable experience and answer questions and help with new client orientation.
Administrative volunteers help with the workings of the center, including recruiting and training volunteers, soliciting and maintaining donors, and organizing special projects and new services.
Other volunteers help with transporting items, maintaining the Center, and other recurring activities.
